immunizations

Norah got her shots last week. It was a sad time for both of us. They had to give her five different shots. It looked painful! And I had to get a picture of her with those bandaids on her legs! Poor baby. I think it was more traumatic for mom than her.

pretty dress

I took these pictures of norah in her pretty dress that used to be her cousins. She looked so cute at church today. She is now 9 weeks old, and getting more demanding. =) She had her shots this past week and has been quite grouchy! But I was warned that would happen. She sure looks happy in these pictures. How I wish that would last all day. =) Oh well, I still treausure these days. I love being her mommy.

Norah and Olivia

This is Norah's friend Olivia. Their mommy's thought it would be cute to take a picture of them in their matching outfits. It was tricky, because Olivia was sleepy, and it is really hard to get two babies to look at the camera at the same time. But that's ok....they are so cute...I hope they grow up to be buddies some day.

great investment

We were at a garage sale last week, and found this bouncy seat for three dollars. What a great deal, she loves this thing, the faster the better, I call her my little cowgirl because that little left arm flies in the air like she is bull riding. Its so cute.

She loves her pacifier. The one in her mouth is sooo cute, but she honestly doesn't like that one....she likes the boring NUK ones. But heh....whatever works these days.

Church Softball

Norah is a faithful fan at daddy's softball game, she was able to sit with Grandpa Outman for some of the game too. What a lucky girl.

pool time

We were at a party this week, and they had a pool. It was so warm out and I know Norah loves her bath tie, so I thought we would try the pool. She loved it! She just relaxes in water. She looked so cute in her big swim suit. She loves being outside. She is my summer baby.

Norah is gettting used to the camera always in front of her. She is one well published baby. I can't help it. I want to have pictures of this precious, fleeting time in her life.

i wanted to take a pic. of Norah while she was still the size of her stuffed animals. She was two months old yesterday.

She loves her Swing

Norah loves her swing. Sometimes she just wants to be in her swing, suck on her pacifier, and just hang out...she may or may not fall asleep, but its guarenteed to relax her. Mom is a big fan of the swing too. =) Isn't she just so cute. When she sits in there looking so cute, all I want to do is take lots of pictures of her and then hold her, but I know better to just take the pictures, and let her rest in her favorite spot.

First Baseball Game

This past Friday, we went to see the Kalamazoo Kings play with our friends Dan and Tina. Norah proudly wore her Cubs outfit. She was so good at the game, people kept stopping us and telling us how cute she is....we know. =)

practice practice practice...

Norah actually likes her "tummy time". She is a fussy girl in the evenings, and if we let her lie on her tummy on a pillow...it can give us about 10 minutes of quietness. =) She is getting better at holding her head up....though she still is flopsy at times. She is growing up so fast...she will be two months old on Tuesday.

i love my family

This scrapbook page is one of my favorites. The pictures were taken at Norah's Aunt Melissa's wedding. We are a tired but happy family. Norah has really changed our routine....especially our sleep routine. She is so precious though and we would rather lose some sleep then lose her. She is our family. We love her more everyday.

meeting uncle matthew

Matthew and Norah met each other a little over a week ago. She has now met all of her immediate family. I think Uncle Matthew likes her....and I am sure he is going to miss her. He better be checking this blog to watch her grow through the next months. =)

American Girl

We had a great time yesterday at the lake with our friends,and Norah's godparents. She slept most of the day, but rarely slept in her stroller, she was spoiled by being held and rocked by everyone.
Today...the 5th, Norah smiled at me for the first time. It was so amazing. Hopefully I will have pictures of that adorable smile on the blog here soon.

She is becoming quite the model don't you think? I really love taking pictures, and then making them look amazing on the computer. It helps to have such a beautiful subject to photograph all the time. This is my favorite picture of her so far.

angel baby

I took some more pictures of Norah yesterday. It is so fun..when she is in a good mood of course. She is starting to focus on our faces much better, and now weighs about 10 lbs. Growing too fast for her mommy. =)
