loves her "boppy"

Norah loves the boppy pillow, it is quite the invention. She really doesn't like lying on her back at all, but she likes to recline and SLEEP MOST OF THE NIGHT in the boppy. I think she likes the fact that it snuggles her. Whatever works these days to get her to sleep more at night. =)

dont worry...its not ours.

I had such high hopes last night of getting a good night's sleep....but that wasn't meant to be. Norah was great she slept for over 4 hours last night. However I was awoken to fire trucks surrounding our house last night. Our neighbor's rental house across the street was lost in a fire. It was a complete loss. It brought back some bad memories of our house fire. Fortunetly no one was living there at the time. I didn't fall back to sleep to easily after watching all of that unfold. There isn't anything much scarier than waking up to firetrucks all around your house in the middle of the night. Norah slept through the whole thing. Well maybe tonight we can get a good night's rest. =)

my little princess, i am so hooked...I am so thankful she is getting better, and becoming a healthy baby girl. She sure doesnt look sick does she.

Daddy's in love

Jayme really did great with the delivery, and he is so sweet with his little girl. He just lights up when he sees her, and constantly tells her how pretty she is. He is a natural.

I am here...on my own time!

Here she is just minutes after being born. She weighed 7 lbs. 7oz. 20 inches long. Isn't she just sooooo cute. =) She arrived at 2:03 am on Tuesday May 23rd. The middle the night! That is tough to recover from. I just love this picture. Daddy did a great job of taking pictures of her in those first precious moments of life.

only a few more weeks

You know you are almost to the end when your maternity clothes don't fit any more. I feel so big, and so stuffed into everything I wear now. But when I look at these pictures, I see my baby and know that it will all be worth it. And it will be so nice to have a normal body back....well somewhat normal. =) I will just be thrilled to lie on my stomach again!
These are scrapbook pages I am making for Norah's scrapbook. I am making a book for her on each stage of my pregnancy, so she will know what I was feeling through out this whole amazing process as we waited for her.

hopefully you can read this scrapbook page. I thought it would be cute to take a picture of her closet...it is already full of really cute clothes....most I have gotten as gifts, and the others at garage sales.....I love garage sales!!

I can't wait to dress her up in all these cute clothes!

almost here

This picture is of me at 37 weeks. We are so close, that its getting frustrating to wait!! I am getting more and more uncomfortable, just this past week I started to swell in my ankles. I guess I can't complain too much I am really doing well in this pregnancy. But I must admit I am ready for it all to be over, and be a real mommy with my baby girl in my arms.
