HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!

Today is Norah's 1st birthday! I had to work..so she was at the Brandon's house...getting spoiled. We had a great birthday party. She was very good. She loved all the attention from everyone, especially from the kids. She loved playing in the sandbox with her friends. She really enjoyed the chocolate frosting on her cake (just like her mama!!) She got some great toys from everyone. Our biggest find was a "play kitchenette" at a garage sale the night before. It is in amazing shape, and it included all the play food and dishes....more than she will ever need. I was so excited to get it, it was a great buy!! I just love this stage in her life, she is really social, and just so much fun. She loves to play outside, I can't wait to take her to the beach.
I just can't believe her first year is already gone! Wow. What an exhausting year. I have learned that the human body can survive on very minimal sleep, and that I can love someone like I never thought was possible. Happy Birthday Beanie!!!

getting so big.

Everyone I meet whether at a grocery store, garage sale, Walmart....cant believe Norah is 11 months old. They think she is so much younger. One guy jumped up when I sat her on the ground at a garage sale, he didn't think she was old enough to sit up on her own. We are way past that stage! I think she is growing too fast. I just love each new stage, but think back to last year, and miss my little baby. She is learning so much each day. I am so blessed.

Welcome Lincoln

Baby Lincoln is here. This is my dear friend's baby. Lincoln Robert Nichols. Tina had him a little early, about two weeks early. He is so sweet. I like to go visit and get my "baby fix". Norah is learning the meaning of gentle, well we at least hope so. Norah and Lincoln are 11 months apart, and to see the huge developemental gap between is so amazing! We love this little guy, and are so happy he is here safe and sound. Congratulations Dan and Tina!

No No Norah

Norah is starting to hear... "NO NO" alot these days. She loves to climb the steps. In this pictures...the steps are on the other side of the wall, and she will crawl over there, and pound on the steps and I will say...no no and she will peer around the wall and usually smile at me. Then she goes back. I then have to go get her and administer some discipline. She is so stubborn....she always goes back to the stairs to play this little game....doesn't she remember how it ends....a spank and crying. Hmmm. Oh well...another cute thing, that we are working through.

Tigers game.

Jayme and I went to a Tigers Game a couple weeks ago. We had amazing seats....six rows from the Tigers dugout!! Thank you Mr. Hantz....the owner of the company Jayme works for.

The stadium is really nice! We saw

Sheffield hit a homerun, a brawl....kind of ....at home plate-thats what this pictures is of....all the players out there "talking" and pushing each other. It rained about 80% of the game...but we still had a great time. Jayme and I proudly wore our Cub hats. Go Cubs!!

Happy Brithday to me

Last Sunday was my 29th Birthday. It was a beautiful day.

We went to church and then a friend took norah for a couple of hours. Jayme and I went out for dinner, and came home and napped for a couple of hours. That was so nice. I don't need any gifts....just my little girl in my arms is all I ask for.

tulip time.

I was so excited...beautiful day, beautiful tulips....but a grouchy baby. She refused to smile for us. She actually cried alot during it. This was suppose to be her one year old photo shoot. But it looks like we will have to try again. These was the only two pictures....out of about 60 ... that are worth looking at. Later that week, the grounds crew at the city park....pulled out all the tulips....so no one year pics. with tulips....oh well. We will find something else.

spring is here

I tried to get these cute pics. of norah in looking "spring like"...she wasn't going for it. She didn't want to wear the adorable petal headband. Stubborn kid.

learning to walk

Norah is on the go. She is learning to walk. She gets sooo excited when she can take over 4 or 5 steps. She has taken up to 10 now. Crawling is still her main mode of transportation...but not for long!
