easter outfit

I am sorry you can not see the whole outfit. I plan to try to get a better photograph of her in her Easter dress....hopefully outside if the weather will cooperate one of these days/weeks.

So once we get the weather to cooperate...then we need Norah too also. So...we shall see how that all works out. =)

"norah...smile"

I was trying to get norah to look at me and smile nice and cute. I got everything but that! =) Well...there was one where she was looking at me and smiling, but it took alot of work from my part...she was enjoying all the attention. =)

We had a busy weekend. My wedding yesterday went well...it was a nice easy one. The couple were Christians...it is so refreshing to go to a Christian wedding and know God is truly being glorified in the ceremony. If I remember I will post some pics. of it in the next few days. Last night we went to a fundraiser and our friends were in a "dance compeition"...and they won! They did a "jive"....they were awesome! It was so fun to go with about 20 other people from church and cheer them on. They are husband and wife, and have never danced before. I will get some pictures of that on here too if I can.

Today (Sunday) we went to church, we are studying Revelations...I love it. I love learning about a book that reveals God's glory and how He literally DEMANDS it. That is so cool. We all took naps when we got home. Norah was tired today, last night at the dance competition she hopped and danced around with all the music playing...it was really cute! =) Well hope everyone is doing well who is reading this. Sorry no new pictures today. They are still on my memory card, and I will be working on that tonight because I have a wedding tomorrow to photograph. So I might have a picture or two on the blog later tonight or this weekend.
We are doing well. Easter Sunday was very nice for us. I tried to get some nice pictures of Norah in her dress...didn't go over too well. She was not in the modeling mood. So...we might try again next week.
My new job is going well. I have been at it now for three months and really like it. I work with mainly the elderly population...which is a little change for me, since I worked in an outpatient setting and saw alot from "injuries" rather than "old age" issues. I have 15 weddings booked so far. That was my goal for this year, so I am excited about that. Which means...my summer will be crazy busy again, but I guess that is a good problem to have.
I promise to get pictures on here soon.

Decorating Easter Eggs.

Norah enjoyed this annual festivity at the Gregersen's house. She wasn't allowed to use the dye (crazy huh?) but she enjoyed coloring on the eggs with the crayons...for a while then she was ready to move on to something else. It was fun watching her color her eggs....then she would smash them on the table and break them. She is learning what "gentle" means.

Church Directory Pictures

Our church is doing its first official church directory, and I have the job of taking everyone's family and individual picture. Here is Norah's picture...just thought you all would want to see it. She was being distracted by some girls who were singing the "Itsy Bitsy Spider" to her. I put on our "family" picture too. I hate family pictures where they are forced like this, and where you are threatening your child to smile and look happy...or else! But anyway...here it is just so you can see us all together. We plan to get our annual family photographs done again at the beach. Those always turn out so much better than posed shots like this...just the thoughts of an opinionated photographer. =)

Signs of Spring!

Today was a beautiful day outside...and we have Spring Fever here!! We took Norah outside to play. She loved it, it was so cute...she just loved playing outside again.

We are getting excited for the warmer weather to do more stuff outside. Norah is talking so much more now. She loves ELMO and is starting to say things from the two videos she watches of him. It is just so cute. She babbles like crazy...my friend says she speaks her own language....norahwegian. I agree....it is a language all her own. I am learning to translate. =)

Hi to those who were asking about Baby Gavin. I got an update, he unfortunetly didn't have his surgery. The Dr. felt his lungs were still too immature to handle the ventilator he would have to be on for a while after the surgery. So...they have to wait till April. So continue to pray for him and the family as the wait...that can be worse part of it all- just waiting.
I will get some more pictures of Norah up here soon...that means I have to take some. =)
