sleeping lots

Norah has not been feeling well these last few days. She has developed a nagging cough, and then dry heaves. Which is making her mommy very nervous. We found out that "whoopy cough" is quite wide spread in Kalamazoo County this year...worse outbreak in 40 years. So she had to get tested for it. We wont know for up to 10 days. So pray she is alright...I don't think she has it. I am hoping it is just a cold, or some gastro. reflux. She is feeling pretty good, she likes to sleep alot these days..she is growing. She has gaied 2 lbs. since birth!

one month old

Norah turned one month old on Friday the 23rd. She spent her birthday at her Aunt Melissa's wedding. We had a beautiful evening for the wedding. It was a little breezy for Norah's liking...but she did really well overall. She looked very cute in her blue dress. It was a little big, so when she gets bigger we will take pictures of her in it more.

bath time

For the most part, Norah likes her bath time. She is so cute with those big dark eyes and sopping wet! I must admit though it is tricky to hold a wet baby...they are slippery!!

Happy Father's Day!!

Today is Father's Day, Jayme's first Father's Day. He is a wonderful father, very loving and patient. He loves to cuddle on the couch with his little girl. They usually take naps together. Norah is one blessed little girl to have such a good daddy. She will always be loved way too much by her dad.

Meeting Grandma Opal

Norah met her Grandma Opal this weekend. I think Grandma fell in love with her! =) These pictures are going to be cherished, and will find themselves in her scrapbook! (Hi Grandma!!, we love you)

too pretty

I love this picture!!! I think I did a pretty good job, it helps when you have such a pretty little baby to photograph.

so sweet

Isn't she just too adorable. I love taking pictures of her, and trying different things. She is in her daddy's arms. It is sad to think that in no time....she will grow up so fast. I want to take all the pictures I can of this precious time in her life.

Meeting Norah

Marie and Marshall meeting Norah for the first time. Marshall was so sweet with her. He kept saying she is so cute and little, and loved tickling her "tootsies" as he said.

ready for church

This is the only outfit (dress) that fits her at this time. She is still too little for her (zero to 3 months) outfits. The bow was so cute, but it didn't last very long, actually it didnt make it out of the house. She looked so cute with it on - I had to make sure I got a picture of it at least. She did great at her first day of church. She slept through most of the service. She was very popular, lots of people came over to tell us how beautiful she is, we agree. =)
Today she had a Dr. appt. They put her on an oral anti-biotic due to a small infection at her umbilical cord site, her "stump" hasn't fallen off yet. So the poor thing has to take that yucky medicine three times a day. I too am on an oral anti- biotic for an infection, so both of us are on meds again just like the beginning. Oh well....we will go through it together, though I do wish it was just me. Overall....she is doing amazing! I am just smitten with her. =)

too many kisses?

We smother her with kisses. I hope that doesn't mean we are spoiling her too much, but that is a risk we are willing to take. Cause I don't see us stop giving her kisses.

sleepy girl

Norah was just waking up from a nap....she has such big yawns, and of course mom got a picture of it. =) The camera is always close by.

happy baby

I am so in love with this little baby. She is so sweet. Last night, she slep for 4 hours at a time!!!! I felt so good when I woke up this morning. Lets hope tonight is as good.
